The students in Mrs Watt's class explore the topic of friendship throughout the school year.  For this particular age group, friends are becoming more important, and it is helpful to provide students with guidelines for initiating and maintaining healthy friendships.  Students love to engage in literature and whole class discussions about how to be a good friend and how to make new friends.  The CSI (Colour, Symbol, Image) activity provided us with a vehicle for making our ideas about friendship more visible.
