The Thompson Terry Fox Run/Walk

Thompson Elementary is proud to be participating in this year’s Terry Fox School Run 

We're having our assembly virtually, then running rain or shine (Just like Terrry did)

Together, we can all make a difference.

                  WHEN:       Thursday, September 23rd, 2021

                  TIME:         9:15 am– Virtual assembly starts. 9:30 - Run starts

                  WHERE:     • Virtual assembly happens in each classroom. 

                                     • Run or walk 3 km through the neighbourhood and down along the dyke

                                    • Finish - back at parking lot entrance

                  WHO:         • All pupils will participate by running or walking

                                     • Kindergarten students will walk in a group with their teachers and some buddies

                  WHY:          • To raise funds for the Cancer Society

                                    • To remember Terry Fox and his accomplishments

                                    • To exercise and have fun
