Mr. Cherry's Monday Morning News

Hello Everyone,

Here is what is happening at Thompson this week.

Today we had a great Halloween Day.  Students enjoyed carving pumpkins in family teams and visiting teh Grade 7 spooky halloween house on the stage.  Thank you to everyone who brought in a non perishable food item for the Richmond Food Bank.  Each student in the school has been given a reflector which can be worn tonight .  Thank you Constable Coan, our RCMP officer for donating these to our school.  Have a safe and Happy Halloween tonight.

This week the Grade 6/7's will be playing two volleybal games.  On Tuesday they will walk over to Spulukwuks and then on Thursday they will play games at Thompson.  Please come out and show your spirit by cheering both teams on.

On Wednesday, Grade 5's, will be participating in their DARE Grad.  The Grad will occur in the gym starting at 1:30 pm.  A big thank you to Mr. B, Mrs. McCaskill and Constable Kandola for supporting the program and providing our students with such valuable messages.

On Thursday, November 10th at 10:30 am please join us for our Remembrance Day assembly in the gym.

Have a great week!
